An AR-15 variant, the 6.5 Grendel was first revealed at the Blackwater Training facility in North Carolina in 2003, where it outshot the 7.62 NATO at range with half the recoil. Known for its outstanding accuracy and reliability, the 6.5 Grendel is able to work with a wide range of bullets, from lightweight 90 grain varmint bullets to mid-weight 108/120 grain competition bullets and to heavier 130 and 140 grain bullets.
